The Windows registry stores files that you recently used (viewed, wrote to, etc) in

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RecentDocs

    Clean_personal_MRU.reg resets the Most Recently Used files that you have accessed.
    Tested on a Win2000 machine.
